The Christmas Course organised by Manchester Language School is a very special experience. Guests stay with friendly host families near to Moor Cottage and will join a course that combines English language lessons with a full programme of Christmas activities.

During their week at Moor Cottage, course participants will improve and practise their English language skills, make English Christmas foods such as plum pudding and mince pies, learn how to make traditional Christmas decorations, go to the theatre and experience a wonderful orchestral concert. Also included are two excursions - to the medieval city of Chester and the magnificent palace of Chatsworth beautifully decorated and illuminated for Christmas.
