Field-detail-NorfolkA return to the magnificent gardens of East Anglia and the genial hospitality and cuisine of David Adlard and Diana Lowe.  The gardens visited on this tour include Hoveton Hall, Fairhaven Garden, East Ruston Vicarage, Somerleyton Hall, Bressingam Gardens and nursery, Helmingham Hall, Sandringham a home of Her majesty the Queen, Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park.

Saturday 3/7 Evening Arrivals Stansted Airport. Transfer to West Somerton Welcome introduction and reception. Dinner White House Farm
Sunday 4/7 NORWICH & HOVETON HALL
Morning Depart for Norwich Plantation Garden – a garden of early 19th century architectural reclamation restored by the community.
Guided walk through the medieval city of Norwich and visit to the cathedral.
Afternoon Hoveton Hall, the 'Spider Garden'.

Monday 5/7 THE FAIRHAVEN GARDEN & EAST RUSTON VICARAGE
Morning Morning English conversation class and garden briefing. The Fairhaven Garden.
Afternoon Norfolk Broadland and East Ruston Vicarage.
Evening Dinner White House Farm
Tuesday 6/7 WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP & SOMERLEYTON HALL
Morning English conversation class and watercolour workshop led by Jan Blanch (www.janblanch.co.uk)
Afternoon Depart for Somerleyton Hall. Private visit to a grand Victorian Italianate mansion. Walled gardens, borders and a fantastic maze.
Evening Great Yarmouth.
Wednesday 7/7 BRESSINGHAM GARDENS & HELMINGHAM HALL
Morning Adrian Bloom’s Bressingham Gardens and nursery.
Afternoon Helmingham Hall, a moated medieval manor house, the family home of Xa Tollemache, the Chelsea Gold winner designer.
Evening Dinner White House Farm
Thursday 8/7 HOUGHTON & SANDRINGHAM
Morning Sandringham, a house of Her Majesty the Queen built for King Edward VII.
Afernoon Houghton Hall, historic home of Britain’s first Prime Minister, Robert Walpole.
Evening Dinner Bure River Cottage Restaurant, Horning.
Friday 9/7 BLICKLING HALL & SHERINGHAM PARK
Morning English conversation class and garden briefing.
Blickling Hall, the very first National Trust property with a house and garden of equal merit.
Afternoon Sheringham Park, Humphrey Repton’s most famous Red Book design.  Return via Cromer.
Evening Farewell dinner, White House Farm
Saturday 10/7 Farewells
  Depart for Stansted Airport for return flights
