"A
wonderful teacher: sensitive to the needs of the students,
thoroughly knowledgeable, fun and funny. The balance of classroom
time and outside excursions was just right. It was amazing
how much I was able to see in such a short period of time.
Seeing
Stratford will forever change the way I read this literature.
Walking the moors near Haworth, my imagination took flight.
We visited places that tourists normally cannot access:
Chetham's Library, where I sat in the same spot as Marx
and Engels, the John Rylands Library, where we saw the original
manuscript of Elizabeth Gaskell's biography of Charlotte
Bronte."

"Manchester
Language School - the best school I have seen."

"I
learned so much and soaked up each experience like a drug
sponge. My students and I will be much the better for my
finally having seem some of the British landscapes that
have been the background for my imagination since I was
nine years old.
I couldn't be more appreciative to you for your warm welcome
and your organizing such a wonderful week."
